About Wayne

I am a highly versatile professional musician and educator specializing in bowed
and fretted stringed instruments. My teaching philosophy is to inspire
thoughtful, well-rounded scholars, then overall musicianship and finally
instrument/genre specific techniques. I am currently an active performer in
every genre of music. I have composed string arrangements for the Greenville
Elevation Church campus where I am a music director. In addition, I have a
practical working knowledge of music technology in both the classroom and in
live performance.

About the lesson

As one of my students you will be challenged to think creatively and logically while focusing on knowledge that is best for practical use. A lesson includes various practice methods that may be general or specific to the material provided. As a result of my diverse experience in many styles of music you will be able to learn multiple ways of approaching the same concepts in music. I provide lesson material that can be applied at almost any level of playing.
