About John
I have 5 years of teaching experience including many satisfied students and experience with collaboration with a local arts school for professional-grade recitals twice yearly.
I am a professional organist with 15 years of piano experience. I learn and perform 8-10 new pieces of music on a weekly basis. I also collaborate with other leaders to ensure successful church services and to help with leading choirs and special instrumentalists such as violinists, cellists, and trumpets.

Depending on student/parent preference, I typically either follow a curriculum such as Alfred's piano books, or we can focus directly on learning specific pieces that are important to the student for one reason or another. My most successful students used a mix of both. I will work with you.
I excel with children and teens (ages 6-16) due to my personable nature, exceptional patience, and ability to make things fun :)
