About Ruby
Hello! I’m Ruby — a performing professional pianist turned dedicated teacher.
What I offer:
• Tailored piano lessons for children (from age 4), teens and adults, whether you’re a beginner, returning to piano or aiming for performance/exams.
• Specialised preparation for ABRSM & Trinity exams, or lessons purely for enjoyment and self-expression.
• Both online and in-person options available.

• Years of professional performance experience: concerts, jazz festivals, hotel residencies and more. I bring real-world insights into each lesson so you learn not only how to play, but how to perform.
• Solid academic training in music performance (UPSI & ASWARA).
• A teaching style that is fun, encouraging, and confidence-building. I believe a positive mindset and genuine student-teacher relationship are key to consistent progress.
• Especially good with young learners: I ensure they feel comfortable, motivated, and excited to practice. I’m also experienced and comfortable with different learners.
• Inclusive: you can start at age 4, and there’s absolutely no upper age limit. It’s never too late to learn piano.
