About Katherine
I have been involved in teaching for the past couple of years. Normally that was carried out on a one to one basis with the student. I had four students whom I taught English and Polish as their first language. All of my students were learning effectively and felt very encouraged. In any situation, I maintained professional yet warm attitude to assure the friendly atmosphere at all times. For example, one student was struggling with English grammar, and I noticed that there was room for improvement straight away. I evaluated my previous methods, realised what needed to be changed, and I eventually adapted myself in a way to benefit that student, rather than merely focusing on getting them to gain the knowledge of the subject. Some students need more time, more motivation, more direct approach than others. However, each individual is unique, everyone has some sort of talent in one area on another. I always attempt to get the best out of my students and help them notice that they are as capable as everyone else's.

I am a private Tutor of Polish/English Languages. For me getting each student to reach their best potential and so they achieve their key goals is my priority. I generally teach the students based on their knowledge, skills, experience and needs. That is because I like to develop their confidence, that they come to realize the importance of education, and how it can help them in the future. I want to make sure that they feel supported, make ongoing progress and above all keep up the motivation to learn. I give TEFL/ESOL lessons that range from the beginner to advanced. Instructions and principles depend on the situation of the student. It's good to establish their learning patterns, interests and abilities beforehand. Every student is different, so adaption of the teaching technique varies. As a Tutor/Teacher I consider myself as very friendly, approachable, mature, supportive and disciplined.
