About Olga

Hi, I’m Olga Shine, a professional soprano and vocal coach with over 30 years of stage experience and more than 20 years of experience teaching singing.

Throughout my career, I have performed professionally and worked with students of different ages, levels and musical backgrounds. Teaching has always been an important part of my life because I genuinely enjoy helping people discover what their voice can do.

I am a very patient, calm and supportive teacher. Over the years, I have helped many students who struggled with pitch and intonation, including people who believed they simply could not sing or did not have a musical ear.

I also care deeply about vocal health and healthy voice development, especially when working with children and young singers.

For me, every voice deserves to be understood, not judged. My aim is to help each student build confidence, develop their technique and discover a freer, healthier and more expressive voice.

About the lesson

I believe that every voice is unique, so I never use exactly the same method with every student. My lessons are fully personalised according to your voice, level, goals and musical style.

During our 50-minute online lessons, we may work on breathing, posture, vocal support, resonance, pitch and intonation, chest and head voice, register coordination, high notes, vocal range, diction, repertoire and interpretation.

I have worked with many students who struggled with pitch and believed they simply “couldn’t sing”. With patience, careful listening and the right exercises, many of them have made significant progress. I am a very patient and supportive teacher, and I want every student to feel comfortable learning without fear of being judged.

Vocal health is extremely important in my teaching. I pay close attention to unnecessary tension, vocal fatigue and forcing, particularly when working with children and young singers.

I teach Pop, Musical Theatre, Classical, Opera, Crossover and International Ballads, and I also help students prepare for auditions, competitions, concerts and other performances.

My aim is not only to help you sing the notes correctly, but to understand your own voice, use it more freely and confidently, and connect emotionally with the music.

Before starting regular lessons, I offer a 30-minute online consultation. This gives us the opportunity to meet, talk about your goals and for me to listen to your voice and identify the main areas we could work on together.
