About Owen

I have 10 years of teaching experience and hold a Master of Arts in Spanish. Throughout my career, I have taught school students, university learners, working professionals, and travelers who wanted to communicate confidently in Spanish-speaking environments. I enjoy helping learners discover that language learning becomes easier when lessons are connected with real life.

One student enrolled before accepting a position with an international company in Mexico and needed practical communication skills within a limited time. We practiced workplace discussions, presentations, business vocabulary, and everyday conversations through realistic scenarios. After relocating, the student shared that daily communication with colleagues and local communities became comfortable and enjoyable.

I believe language grows through regular communication rather than memorizing isolated rules. My classroom encourages curiosity, confidence, and steady improvement while creating a supportive environment where mistakes become valuable learning opportunities. Every learner receives personal attention because individual progress matters more than speed.

About the lesson

I begin by understanding each student's motivation for learning Spanish so every lesson has a clear purpose. This helps me create a learning plan that matches individual goals and experience. Students are encouraged to participate actively from the very first class.

Grammar is introduced through meaningful conversations instead of lengthy explanations. Vocabulary develops through topics such as travel, business, education, hobbies, and daily life so learners can immediately use new expressions. Pronunciation improves through guided listening, speaking practice, and personalized correction that builds confidence naturally.

Reading activities include news articles, short stories, and cultural texts that improve comprehension while expanding vocabulary. Students preparing for DELE examinations receive organized practice with speaking, listening, reading, and writing tasks that closely reflect examination standards.
