My teaching is a blend of traditional Guru–Shishya parampara and modern, student-friendly techniques. I focus on clear explanation of Tabla bols, hand positioning, rhythm cycles (taals), and practical exercises. I also use demonstrations, slow-to-fast practice methods, and clapping exercises to strengthen rhythm sense. Usual Structure of a Class Warm-up & basic practice (5–10 mins) New lesson / concept (bols, compositions, or taal) Practical demonstration & repetition Homework / practice tips (so students can progress between classes) Classes are interactive and adjusted according to the student’s learning speed.
