About Maggie
I am a certified High School teacher who has been a student just like you - and understands how school, homework, and life in general can be so overwhelming. The best possible way to learn is to ask questions - this is why there is never a dumb question in my eyes. Napoleon Bonepart stated that "'Why" and "how" are words so important that they cannot be too often used." I believe that students should be empowered to ask questions, ask for help, and ask to be challenged. I love learning, and so should you!

As a certified teacher, I am educated in many different learning styles and needs. I have prepared classroom materials for Grades 8-12, and have worked extensively with elementary school-aged students as well. I will help provide extra one-on-one support that is sometimes missed in class. I like to utilize Historical thinking concepts to help students understand the "Why" to learning Social Studies, and help break down material into smaller, more attainable concepts.
