About Julius
I have been in teaching field for seventeen (17) years already. I spent most of my career teaching students in the Science, Technology, and Engineering program, which offers a special science curriculum tailored to the needs of advanced and scientifically oriented students. In addition, typically offer (home-based) tutorial sessions for students who are having maths difficulties and those who want to advance in some topics in maths after my job hours and for a short period of time on the weekends. During my time at a private institution, I also taught college students various subjects related to mathematics, including algebra, plane coordinate geometry, trigonometry, business mathematics and others. I've had success developing innovative teaching strategies that promote critical thinking and cater for the various learning styles of our learners. I also share my knowledge with my peers and take part in professional trainings as part of my professional development.

I must first evaluate the learning styles of my students before starting any lessons. I often begin with the fundamentals, with simple explanations, and concrete and real-world examples before progressively raising the level of complexity in the session. In order for my student to participate in my discussion, I want him or her to feel at ease asking questions. I offer constructive feedback on their work, highlighting the proper procedures and areas that need development. To make my instruction more interactive or engaging, I enhance it with various online resources and educational technologies.
