About Juna

I have been tutoring since I was twelve years old! For the past four years, I have also worked in a before-and-after school program, where I also ran group classes for my children ages 4-10. In terms of education, I did a double major in Math and English at McMaster University. I am an enthusiastic, patient person, who cares about understanding as opposed to rote learning.

About the lesson

My lessons prioritize understanding, and are fun and interactive. I ensure that my lessons are succinct so as to not waste your time. I am comfortable pushing a child's limits and helping them experiment and reach their full potential. I believe in achieving both short-term and long-term progress. I will never blame or guilt-trip anyone for not understanding anything, and as a student who still struggles to understand things the first time, I am always willing to go over anything as many times as someone need. I am very open to focusing lessons based on your child's interests and I will personalize the classes as I get to know your child.
