About Daniel
Hello! I'm a Birmingham-based professional violinist and private music tutor holding a Postgraduate Diploma in performance, with years of experience playing in orchestras and chamber music ensembles.
Teaching is a huge part of my life. I love helping students build confidence and enjoy making music, whether they are adults exploring a new hobby or young musicians aiming for grade exams. My goal as a teacher is to pass on my performing insights while keeping every lesson encouraging, inspiring, and shaped around your goals.
Outside of music, I'm a keen sports enthusiast and love staying active—you'll usually find me out cycling or enjoying a game of rugby on TV!

My teaching methodology is tailored to every individual student, ensuring that learning the violin is both rewarding and enjoyable. I make sure learning the violin feels natural, fun, and immediately rewarding! From day one, we'll work on making a great sound, building comfortable posture, and bringing music to life.
What to expect:
Who it's for: Beginners starting from scratch, intermediate students working through ABRSM or Trinity grades (1–8+), or adults picking up the violin as a passion project.
Lesson Structure: Lessons are typically 30, 45, or 60 minutes long, structured to balance core playing skills, repertoire tailored to your musical tastes (classical, modern, or pop), and music theory integration.
My Approach: Supportive, patient, and goal-oriented. Whether you are aiming for top marks in music exams or playing purely for fun, I adapt my pace to help you achieve your personal goals with confidence.
