About Avani

Avani is a professional vocalist with 15+ years of experience. She is trained in Hindustani classical music. She has represented India in the Paris appreciation awards held on the Eiffel Tower to acknowledge talented professionals and entrepreneurs world wide.

Her qualifications and scholarship include:
• SPIC MACAY scholarship in Sangeet Research academy, Kolkata where she learnt from maestros of classical music like Ustad Abdul Rashid Khan, Girija Devi and Pt. Ajoy Chakraborty.
• Diploma in Hindustani classical music from Gandharva Mahavidyalay
• Grade 3 Piano exams qualification from Trinity college London.

Growing up, I found it very difficult to find a teacher who could teach me the right way. I had to face the lack of holistic musical training including basics of singing and voice production. Hence, I wish to share the learnings from my journey and apply it to my teaching to give the students a more effective learning experience.
