About Athena
Hi! My name's Athena, and I am a first year medical student who has always had a real passion for performing. I've been in shows such as Annie, Evita and Joseph all as professional gigs, and then been in countless shows at amateur theatres. I auditioned for West End productions frequently, as well as Netflix but my real passion has always stuck with singing. I have grown up in the singing industry and have worked professionally from a young age, having private singing lessons myself for 10 years. I have a passion for teaching, and want to help people with their own singing journeys as I was helped so greatly with mine. My schedule as a medical student doesn't really allow me to work as much as I used to, and so I want to teach and pass off some of the wisdom I've learnt myself over the years to keep singing in my life and help others at the same time!

I offer assistance and training on pre-existing pieces, or can help to collaborate with a student to create musical theatre pieces for singing exams, auditions or showcases. I know the musical theatre scene well, have sat 6 singing exams all with a Distinction star, and gotten the highest overall mark in my performing arts school for 3 years running. I have worked in the professional theatre industry, and sat auditions for talent agencies, West End shows and Netflix films so I know the performing industry well. These sessions could include choreographing a musical theatre style piece (singing focused), working on singing technique, creating an exam or audition portfolio or even just improving confidence!
