About Mark
One of the most valuable relationships I had during my Honors year was with my supervisor, largely because we developed a strong rapport. I find that teaching can sometimes feel quite formal or distant, and I aim to take a different approach. I believe that building a genuine relationship with students creates space for open dialogue, asking questions, and fleshing out ideas.
My tutoring style may therefore be a little more informal than that of the average tutor, but this is intentional. I want to get to know you, understand your individual needs and goals, and create an environment where we can work collaboratively.

I take a collaborative and flexible approach to teaching. Where specific skill development is needed, I can provide structured guidance and instruction. In the context of thesis and research work, however, I aim to work alongside students and adapt to their individual arguments, ideas, and intended direction. I'm a provisional psychologist currently completing a Master of Clinical Psychology. I received First Class Honours for my research project, achieved a High Distinction average across my Honours coursework, and a Distinction average in my Graduate Diploma. Lessons will typically last 60-90 minutes, depending on your individual needs and the requirements of your undergraduate or Honours coursework.
