About Gabrielle

My interest in teaching English is that my students LEARN. In order to do that, I like to use all available means so that the study becomes CONSISTENT. I believe that, just like that, the learning will be true.

For that, I usually use journalistic texts, fables, books, music, audios and videos that make learning more dynamic. I like to choose materials that are not only aimed at teaching language, but that are what the natives come into contact in daily basis (The New York Times, Personal Blogs etc) - consequently, my students will be learning REAL English. Also, I give the student the freedom to choose their preferred materials, because I believe that their active participation leads to giant results.

Finally, I always tell students: "Don't be ashamed to text me with any questions. That's what I am here for".

About the lesson

Hello! My name is Gabrielle Ferreira and I have a degree in Psychology. In addition to this degree, I am currently studying Pedagogy and I am a Teaching Assistant in an Early Childhood Education in a bilingual school, having more than 2 years of experience in common teaching and language teaching. Thus, my direction has always been working with education and learning processes.

As for my trajectory in English, I studied in Bilingual School as a child and, since then, I have been improving the language more and more: I completed the English course in English Culture (2012) and took part in an exchange program to Dublin (Ireland) in 2016. Still, I always continue to learn by giving classes to my students as I try to research different topics for the classes. My goal in giving English classes is to enable my students to obtain a global and FUNCTIONAL assimilation of that language.

Perfect! A Prof Gabi é muito simpática e traz todo dia diferentes atividades para a minha filha. As aulas bilingues estão nos atendendo muito bem nessa epoca de pandemia em que as crianças não podem ir a escola. A minha filha esta adorando! Ela se diverte!
