About Elena
I am a Communications Professional working in Higher Education. Throughout my career, I have retained my love for Psychology and written extensively on the topic, promoting Psychology degrees and the benefits of studying Psychology. While I did not go into Psychology myself but rather opted to pursue a degree in English, Psychology was always a strong subject of mine, earning almost 100% in my A-Level exam.

I will deliver an hour-long lesson covering any areas within GCSE or A-Level Psychology, tailored to the students' particular needs and interests. My lessons will include an informal discussion to explore any issues or particular areas of focus. I will then deliver a short presentation exploring the chosen theme, answering any questions at the end. This is followed by a structured, reflective conversation before going on to the most appropriate exercise - essay planning, further exploration of Psychology principles or research, tailored exercises, and maybe the occasional game!

Elena is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to English Literature, History, and Psychology, and is excellent at breaking things down in a simple way. She is creative in her approach to teaching, and knows how to get people thinking in a different way - and one that is conducive to learning. She is patient and caring, and knows how to adapt for people's individual learning needs.
Elena has helped my daughter a lot. She is now much more confident in her English and enjoy learning at school. Thank you so much Elena!
