I am looking forward to teaching IBDP 1 and 2 psychology students. Considering how vast the portion is, learning can get very vague and unstructured for this particular subject. Moreover, many students, who don't have previous experience with the IBDP curriculum, tend to have difficulties navigating through the course structure, exam patterns, answer styles, etc. Through my experiences in not only the diploma program itself but also in degree college, I have picked up tips and tricks to make the subject relatively easy and interesting.
The teaching methods would include structured theoretical understand, critical analysis skills and past paper practice. Furthermore, the fun and interesting side of psychological studies that will make you fall in love with the subject itself. What many teachers don't have is relatability with tutees. Since, I am so close to the student's age, I can not only relate to their struggles but also make learning more efficient since I know what exactly worked for me. What more can one want?
