About PARVNEET

I am a counseling psychologist and psychology educator with experience in mental health, student well-being, facilitation, and applied psychology. My work has allowed me to engage with psychology not only as an academic subject, but as something that comes alive in therapy rooms, classrooms, campuses, and everyday human behavior.

I want to teach because I believe psychology becomes far more interesting when students can actually see what a concept looks like in real life. Many students understand a theory while reading it, but struggle when asked to apply it to a case, connect it with another concept, or explain what it would mean in practice. That is the gap I enjoy helping students bridge.

Trained in advanced teaching, facilitation, and andragogic approaches, I use a learner-centered and interactive style. My sessions may include case discussions, practical examples, real-life scenarios, intervention-based thinking, conceptual clarification, reflective questions, and exam-oriented support depending on the student's goals.

I especially enjoy helping students move from:

• “I have memorized this” to “I actually understand this.”
• “I know the definition” to “I can apply this to a case.”
• “Psychology feels overwhelming” to “I know how the concepts connect.”

My aim is to create a space where students feel comfortable asking questions, thinking critically, and developing their own psychological understanding rather than simply learning answers by rote.

Whether you are studying psychology academically, preparing for examinations, struggling with particular theories, or simply want to understand psychology in a more practical and meaningful way, I would be happy to work with you.

Psychology, for me, is not just something to study. It is a way of understanding people, relationships, behavior, emotions, and the world around us—and that is what I hope to bring into every class.

About the lesson

Trained in advanced teaching, facilitation, and andragogic (adult-learning) techniques, I aim to make psychology learning engaging, practical, and relevant to real-world situations.
I bridge the gap between textbooks and reality by connecting psychological concepts with case discussions, practical examples, intervention-based work, and real-world applications.

My approach is interactive and learner-centered, helping students not only understand psychological theories but also develop the ability to apply them thoughtfully in academic, professional, and everyday contexts.
