About Nikolay
Hi! My name is Nikolay and I am an AI researcher, as well as a full-stack software developer. I have recently published a research paper on NLP at ICML 2026, and authored a production web app for more than 300 active users.
I love to help eager people learn more about mathematics and programming! Most of what I know, I have self-taught myself, so I know how hard those initial moments of traction can be. I don't like teaching the syntax of programming language - I enjoy making other people see the beautiful algorithms and data structures present in programming. That's why it's important to think like an engineer!

Most of what I know I have taught myself, so I perfectly understand how it is for students to get stuck at the start of their journey or on a specifically challenging problem. That is why I try to encourage the students to think like an engineer to build the skills to solve problems independently!
Together, we can work on computer science fundamentals in Java or Python (from the first "Hello World!" to Object-Oriented Programming) or Mathematics (Algebra, Calculus, Statistics, Fundamentals of Linear Algebra).
These lessons are suitable for anyone who wishes to dive into programming or build their math knowledge before they start university :)
