About Stephen
Hello there! My name is Stephen and I found Rollerskating a few years back. Since then I have strived to improve - I skate 6 days per week for 3 hours minimum. I am experienced in Rink skating and over time, have become experienced in outdoor skating - though preferably smooth surfaces! Skating quickly became my passion, and teaching others how to skate, or how to better their skating skills is my second favourite part - skating is number one!! I am a progressing Artistic Skater, who started later in my life, but that hasn't stopped me from excelling and striving to be better both as a casual skater, and in my artistic journey. In the past, I have worked with both Adults and Children as an Outdoor Campsite Instructor, eventually leading camps myself. I spend most of my days at my local rink, where I never fail to offer advice or support to anyone whether they're new, or a little more advanced!

Hi! I'm offering rollerskating lessons that are completely tailored to you—your skill level, what you want to work on, and what you’re hoping to achieve. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to build on skills you’ve already been working on, I’m here to help you make real progress. Each lesson is at least an hour long, giving us plenty of time to focus on your goals. I’ve been skating for a few years now and have over 2 years of teaching experience. I've worked with more than 15 people so far, helping them gain confidence, improve their technique, and learn new skills at their own pace. I teach both adults and children, and I always adjust the approach to suit each person’s needs. I like to start with the essentials—getting moving, stopping, falling safely, and getting back up—but I can also teach more advanced artistic moves like jumps and spins if that’s something you're interested in. Whatever stage you’re at, I’ll meet you there and help you move forward. Skaters will need to bring their own equipment, including skates and any safety gear like helmets, knee pads, elbow pads, and wrist guards. If you’re unsure about your setup, I’m happy to help with gear adjustments and answer any questions you have about your skates or protective equipment.
