About Yaqi

I graduated with a Bachelor’s in English Study in Nanjing in 2020. In the same year, I chose Teaching Chinese as a Second Language as my major while pursuing my master’s degree. In 2022, I went to the USA to be a Chinese teaching assistant in a middle school. After returning to China, I also taught Many students from Germany, India, and Japan to improve their Chinese language. I have gained many valuable experiences. From 2023 to 2024, I was working in Scotland as a mandarin teacher for university and Language Institute. Now, I'm working for Confucius Institute in Scotland.

I have many hobbies, like music, sports, dramas and movies. Also, I possess a diverse worldview and believes teaching Chinese can closely connect people worldwide.

About the lesson

I love to have classes with people from different culture, andI love to show the most authentic Chinese language and culture to people who are interested in CHINESE. My lesson will be interesting and gaining, relaxing and full of laughter! Hope you can enjoy my class!
