About Mado

In my lessons, I focus on building your confidence to actually use the language—whether you want to ace an exam, improve your grades, or just feel more confident speaking French while travelling. I’ll explain things clearly, give you plenty of practice, and make sure you leave each lesson feeling like you’ve made real progress.

About the lesson

I offer lessons of 1 hour, 1 hour 30, or 2 hours, depending on your needs and availability. I hold a PGCE in Languages from UCL, a Bachelor’s degree in Modern English, and a Master’s degree in French as a Foreign Language. I have taught in both state and independent schools in the UK, as well as within French cultural institutions like Institut français and Alliance française. I work with learners of all ages and levels, from complete beginners (A1) to advanced (C1). My classes are interactive, goal-oriented, and tailored to your preferred learning style to ensure steady progress and confidence in French. I combine academic expertise with practical teaching skills. I mix different skills: listening, speaking, writing and reading but can also focus only on some specific. I bring cultural authenticity as well as a clear understanding of UK and French exam requirements.
