Hi there! I'm Nicole. As a teacher with many years of experience tutoring, I know that the best approach to teaching is not only through using effective methods and strategies, but also through instilling trust and confidence in my students. I use a variety of teaching methods and techniques such as modeling, prompting, metacognitive strategies and differentiated instruction geared towards meeting the needs of each student's learning style. Lessons are planned and structured according to individual needs and goals. Typical lesson structure includes: Introducing the concept and teaching time, practice time, time for checking student learning and closure. Lessons are for all ages and skill levels and move at the student's pace.
