About Emma

I graduated as a children's nurse from the University of Surrey in 2015 and have since worked at Great Ormond Street Hospital, Epsom hospital (Paediatric ED) and Evelina Hospital community services (School nursing, Patch CCN, Nurse Specialist for Asylum and Refugee Health and Asthma Community Nurse Specialist). I have just moved into research nursing after finishing maternity leave. I completed a master's in Psychology in 2023 so have recent experience of completing academic work at master's level. I have extensive experience of supporting student nurses in practice both in acute and community placements and love to teach and share knowledge. I also have experience of interviewing candidates from NQN up to band 7 and providing support with the application process and interview coaching. As a tutor I am approachable, supportive and committed and offer a personalised approach! About the lesson

Everybody's needs and learning styles are different and I take an individualised approach to teaching and support. Our first session will be all about getting to know you, your learning style and what you want to get out of working together. I will then create a tailored plan for how to help you meet your goals. Tutoring is a partnership and I want to help you achieve your best!
