About Graeme

Welcome, my name is Graeme. I am a qualified flight instructor and I'm passionate about teaching students until they get that "Lightbulb moment" where difficult concepts all of the sudden seem easy and simple. I take pride in what I do, and it has taken me many years to achieve what I now know, and I want to share everything I have learnt up until this point with you.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is focused on making aviation theory simple, understandable and practical. As a qualified Flight Instructor, I believe that students learn best when they understand the reasoning behind a concept rather than simply memorising information for an exam. I use clear explanations, practical aviation examples and step-by-step teaching to help students build confidence and develop a strong foundation of knowledge.

I offer personalised tutoring for all PPL subjects, including Principles of Flight, Meteorology, Navigation, Aviation Law, Human Performance, Aircraft General, and Flight Planning. Lessons can be tailored to the student's specific needs, whether they are learning a subject from the beginning, struggling with a particular topic, preparing for an examination, or wanting to strengthen their overall aviation knowledge.

I am proficient in English and am able to teach comfortably in English. Lessons are conducted in an interactive manner, with students encouraged to ask questions and work through concepts rather than simply listen to a lecture.
