About Katherine

Hi everyone!

I am a qualified French tutor with four years teaching experience. I studied French at the University of Sheffield and have lived and worked in French speaking countries. I have bilingual fluency in French and English and I thoroughly enjoy teaching French as a second language. I have a passion for languages and am a language learner myself (currently learning German, Portuguese and Italian!) and wish to share the joy of language learning with others.

About the lesson

I cater to the student's needs. The classes focus on developing speaking fluency in Spanish. In my lessons, we will focus on conversation, naturally building up and improving your vocabulary, grammar, speaking and listening and - of course - I always ensure that my classes are interesting and fun and that you will be able to apply your French in the real world. My classes aim to build up my students' confidence and get them using the language as quickly as possible.

A typical lesson lasts 1 hour, shorter lessons available on request. Just ask :)

I have four years teaching experience and a BA in Modern Languages (Spanish, French and Dutch) and a master's in Hispanic Studies.

I have C2 level in written and spoken French. I am 33 years old and currently live in the UK but frequently attend language exchange events to keep my French up-to-date and travel abroad to practise
