About Mariyam

I graduated with a BSc honours degree in Psychology with Criminology. I have over 10 years teaching experience in the humanities department. I also have over 15 years experience working with children in non-academic settings. I am a specialist in Psychology and Sociology A-level tuition, revision and exam preparation/technique. I have taught A-level and GCSE for over 10 years and have marked exam papers for various examining boards.

About the lesson

I am offering one to one and small group tuition for Psychology and Sociology. Sessions will be interactive and students will be able to attempt practice questions. We will focus on answering exam questions and knowing the marking criteria. I provide tutees with clear, concise class notes and revision materials aimed at ensuring that they understand how to address exam questions and how to structure essays. I can provide tutees with a huge bank of past paper questions and model answers with examiner feedback to accompany these questions, and marked as it would be by official examiners in live exams, thus addressing strengths and weaknesses. These are group sessions at £15 per person per hour (Minimum 3 students). Prices for 121 tuition are £40 per hour.
