About Sarah
As someone who studied French in school and university—always achieving great grades but never mastering the most important aspect, speaking—until I was immersed in the language after moving to France, I understand all too well the feeling of being 'out of your depth' and lacking the courage to speak. I specialise in one-to-one and small group language teaching with students of all ages, adapting my approach to the needs and goals of each learner. My aim is to get my learners talking as soon as possible—whether it's learning the basics or practising the complex vocabulary and language you already possess but don't yet dare to use! My sessions typically last 45 to 60 minutes, and I like to incorporate visual and dramatic arts, music, and technology as much as possible to keep learning relevant and practically applicable. I hold a Bachelor of Education International Degree with French, having obtained first-class honours in both.
