About Kiera

Hello I'm Kiera! I am a qualified teacher with a passion for Psychology. I have a first class degree in Psychology from a top Russel Group University and even won the Qualitative Prize for best performance during my undergraduate study. I am therefore highly equipped in helping you develop your essay writing style, critical analysis and contextual knowledge for Psychology. Psychology is a highly essay based subject and therefore, while information retention and memorisation of studies is important at A-level and GCSE, the high marks are locked within your ability to critically evaluate studies and demonstrate theoretical insight. As a qualified teacher I understand the importance of finding and addressing any gaps in your knowledge and also have a strong understanding of exam technique and how to answer exam questions in line with your specific mark scheme. About the lesson

Lesson length can be arranged to fit your schedule for 30, 45, 60 or 90 minutes.

I have a friendly approach to tutoring and ensure that not only subject material, but wider conceptual knowledge and critical thinking skills are taught in oder for you to achieve the highest grades!

My lessons are tailored to individual need so all ability levels are welcome. I have a lot of experience working with students who find learning new information difficult or who may need additional support to reach their full potential. We will build up at a pace that suits your learning style but also pushes you to advance your skillset.

I am very flexible and am happy to be led by you in terms of what content/skills you want to develop and will plan lessons accordingly.

I am based in Newcastle Upon-Tyne/Gateshead and am more than happy to deliver in-person tutoring sessions to students in this area. For all other areas I can deliver online tutoring sessions.

In-person = £60 per hour

Online = £35 per hour

* Minimum length for in-person sessions is 45 mins
