About Ivan
My name is Ivan Muller Jooste, and I am a dedicated educator and licensed wellness counselor with a strong academic foundation in Psychology and Human Movement Studies. I hold a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Johannesburg (2009), and an Honors in Counseling Psychology (2024). My professional background includes over a decade of experience in the education sector. As a registered wellness counselor with the ASCHP (WC21/989), I have continued to deepen my expertise through various local and international certifications. These include professional development in Emotional Intelligence (Six Seconds), Sports Psychology, Counseling Practice, and Addiction and Recovery Psychology through institutions such as Stanford University and the Academy of Modern Applied Psychology. I am passionate about holistic student development, mental health advocacy in school settings, and the practical integration of psychology in education. My goal is to bridge the gap between academic learning and emotional well-being, empowering learners and staff through informed support and ethical counseling practices.
