About Kris

I'm a Medical Science student in Queensland and a graduate of James Ruse Agricultural High School. Having achieved a high ATAR and UCAT score, I understand what it takes to succeed in competitive academic environments. I offer personalized tutoring in Mathematics, and UCAT preparation, focusing on building confidence, strong problem-solving skills, and effective exam techniques. My goal is to help students achieve outstanding results while developing a genuine understanding of the content.

About the lesson

Hi, I'm Kris, a medical student in Queensland and a graduate of James Ruse Agricultural High School. Having achieved a high ATAR and UCAT score, I understand what it takes to excel in competitive academic environments and gain entry into demanding university programs. I have experience tutoring students in Mathematics, Science, and UCAT preparation, helping them build both confidence and strong study habits.
My Teaching Methodology
My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs and learning style. I focus on:
Breaking down difficult concepts into simple, understandable steps.
Teaching efficient problem-solving techniques rather than rote memorisation.
Using worked examples followed by guided and independent practice.
Identifying weaknesses through targeted questions and providing structured improvement plans.
Building exam technique, time management, and confidence under pressure.
For UCAT students, I place particular emphasis on strategy, timing, question analysis, and reviewing mistakes to maximise score improvements.
