About Richard

I have over 15 years of piano experience with an Associate's Degree (ARCT) from RCM. I am currently preparing for a master's degree in piano. I can teach kids or adults up to an advanced level. The first lesson will be free.

About the lesson

I offer in-person (can travel) and online lessons.

I specialize in classical music and going through the RCM curriculum. I will tailor my teaching to your needs while maintaining a focused approach on your technical and musical growth.

Classes will be conducted in English however I am able to communicate in Mandarin.

Perfect! Richard has been a wonderful piano teacher for our family. He has a very kind and gentle manner with the kids, which makes the lessons feel relaxed and encouraging. Communication has been excellent, and he's always clear and responsive.

My 5- and 7-year-olds are complete beginners, but they've already made noticeable progress after just a few lessons. Richard connects well with them and keeps them engaged. They genuinely like him and actually look forward to their lessons each week, which is really great to see. We're very happy to have found him.
