About Alara
As a Madison native, I recently graduated from Clemson University with a major in Economics and a double minor in Management and Finance. I worked as a peer tutor during my sophomore year in Business Calculus as I excelled in math courses and enjoyed sharing my learning methods with other students. I now work a full-time hybrid role for a brokerage firm nearby, but am looking for a side-hustle as I am available on weekends and in the evenings on weekdays. I also have babysitting experience over the past couple of years if I am tutoring younger children and parents may need to step out for short periods of time.

I’m looking to share my passion for math with grade schoolers seeking some extra help! Being a recent graduate myself, I’m able to connect with younger students and empathize with their concerns and goals.
With my past experience as a peer tutor, I typically took “walk-in” style appointments where we addressed issues as students came in or did an overall review with practice.
