About Amaar
I am a recent graduate from the University of Manchester with a first class Masters degree in Chemical Engineering.
I have 4 months experience as a private A-level physics tutor and 11 months as a weekly group tutor for GCSE Maths where I raised my students' results as much as from E to B. Furthermore given that my parents are also teachers, I have some experience working in a school and am excited to start private tutoring once again.

I prefer to begin my first lesson by preparing a sheet of various topics to understand your specific needs and what you feel you need help or practice with. After that, I work closely with you to clear explain ideas with diagrams and pictures, practice questions especially with concepts and formulae and set homework at the end of every lesson.
My experiences as a private tutor, university student and my work experiences in industry have allowed me to develop the soft skills necessary to be a good teacher. These experiences have taught me the importance of clear communication, effective time-management and organisation.
