About Maisie
I'm a recent graduate currently based in Manchester. I'm passionate about cooking, performing arts but most importantly medicine. I wanted to be a doctor since I was 3 years old when I got a plastic stethoscope for Christmas; there were no doctors in my family which meant I had to figure a lot out alone however I was lucky enough that a local GP heard about my dream and decided to tutor me herself. I want to pass this kindness on and help others get into medical school by teaching them everything I wish I'd known!

I have a flexible, student-led approach and will help you with the areas you want to focus on by creating plans and giving personalised advice. Lessons can range from 15 mins to 1 hour depending on what you would like to cover. During medical school I have done plenty of teaching for younger medical students, both informally out on the wards and formally through paediatric societies. I have also worked as a GCSE maths tutor in the past. My lessons are for anyone thinking of applying for medicine, whether you want personal statement tips, UKCAT advice or just general enquiries about medical school. I can also give current medical students OSCE and exam advice, as well as answer any questions about the transition into clinical practice.
