About Kiara
I obtained my bachelor's degree in Mathematics with a certification in teaching. I taught 9th grade math for 2 years as well as a summer of 6th grade math. During that time, I tutored with the school as well as in my personal time. I've always told my students to continue to grow and expand their knowledge in their area of interest and decided to take my own advice. I dropped everything and enrolled in a master's program and moved 8 hours away. During that time, I continued to tutor at the university and in my own time. As a recent graduate, I want to continue to help others.

My passion is mathematics and my purpose is to help others become confident in mathematics. I meet every student where they are at in their content and our goal is to continue to take steps forward to a higher knowledge in math. I strive to make math fun and personal by using real-world examples to help others connect. I tutor a wide range from 3rd grade to college courses. I help with homework, study guides for tests, and create lesson plans for students when needed.
