About Dominic

Hi! I'm Dom, I'm a 22 year old North-Londoner, and have just graduated from the University of Bristol with a 1st Class Spanish Honours Degree! I have years of tutoring experience already, working with students from year 9 up to University level, and they have all been extremely satisfied with the service I have provided them! I have consistently been able to help students raise predicted grades from 4s/5s or Cs/Bs up to 7s/8s and As/A*s. I love teaching, I love working with students, and I love being able to build rapport with new people, helping them to master a new skill along the way. Beyond that, I also love Spanish, and I have been able to reap the rewards of my Spanish abilities through living in other countries, engaging with other cultures, working in large companies thanks to my linguistic skills, and many more experiences! I hope my passion for this subject to be infectious, a mastery of it really does open so many doors to culture, music, travel, food, work, and more!

About the lesson

I will be able to tailor my teaching methodologies and lesson plans to your specific situation! Whether that be for GCSE students struggling to build confidence speaking, A-Level students who are finding mastering Spanish grammar tricky, or University students and working professionals who are looking to achieve fluency for their degrees or careers, my empathetic and structured approach is beneficial for all potential tutees. I'm easy-going, always teach with a smile on my face, and truly know how important it is for students to feel that they are learning in a safe environment where no question is a bad question. Especially when learning a new language, mistakes are inevitable, but with my sensitive approach and tailored lesson plans, these mistakes won't kill confidence, but hopefully encourage improvement!
