About Davide

I recently graduated with a First-Class BA in History of Art from University College London (UCL) and have, for many years, tutored students at diverse stages of their academic journey.

At University, I was a ‘Transition Mentor’ for two years, where I supported first-year students on a wide range of academic themes, including leading essay surgery sessions to help them develop a strong written voice. Before university, for my A Levels, I achieved an A* in Classical Civilisation and A in English Language, and tutored English to foreign students.

My interests lie largely in anything history and literature related, and I am always looking to learn more alongside students! I believe that the best way to learn is to be deeply engaged in a subject — to view it as something more than simply a chore. Through a collaborative approach, I aim to bring enthusiasm and attention to each student’s needs.

About the lesson

Studying can sometimes feel monotonous, uninspiring, and intimidating. Through one-to-one private tutoring, it would be my objective to make you gain confidence in expressing your written voice. In a friendly and stimulating environment, each lesson will target your needs so that concepts and themes you struggle with will gradually become clearer. Whether you are seeking to improve your grades, or are just looking for an extra challenge, I will tailor each lesson to what you desire.

I tutor:
History of Art - up to undergraduate level

I can also help with general writing skills, such as essay writing and proofreading.

Each lesson lasts 60 or 90 minutes, and takes place online or in person. First lesson is complimentary so that I can assess your needs and get to know what you are looking for, and see if we are a good match.
