About Claire

I love teaching and have worked with many students to help them better understand the content of their nursing studies. My most recent student went from worrying about failing their degree programme to coming out with a first class honours degree after working with me!
I love academic writing and research and I can help you learn to love it too (or at least not be quite so daunted by it!)
I have had many twists and turns in my career to date and understand how difficult and daunting a career in nursing can be, particularly as a student nurse. I want to ensure student nurses have the support and advice they need to succeed in their careers. University courses often expect you to immediately grasp academic writing although it is like a completely different language! Classes with me will allow you to work constructively and develop the tools to flourish with this new type of writing.

About the lesson

I offer a friendly and non judgemental approach to support you in approaching and completing your nursing studies. I can discuss course content with you in greater detail, particularly relating to academic writing and research which I am passionate about.
I can also offer you advice in terms of career coaching/planning and what steps you need to take to achieve your career goals.

Price includes one hour session. If you send your assignment to me 1-2 days prior to the lesson I will review and correct it, with suggestions of how you might be able to improve it included in the price. I aim to empower you to write a really good assignment yourself - it’s important to note that I cannot write it for you! Where necessary I will send you pre prepared resources to help you with your studies also, included in this price.
