About Aruvi

Hello and welcome! My name is Aruvi and I am deeply passionate about teaching and sharing knowledge. I am a registered psychologist graduated with a Master's degree in Organisational Psychology and Human Factors at the University of Adelaide. Alongside my studies, I am also gaining valuable industry experience through concurrent work placements. These experiences enrich my understanding of the practical applications of psychology in various organizational settings, insights that I am eager to share with my students. Teaching is more than just a profession to me, it's a way to inspire and empower. I believe in creating a learning environment that not only fosters academic excellence but also builds confidence in my students. My approach is characterized by enthusiasm and approachability, ensuring that every session is not only educational but also engaging and supportive. My desire to teach stems from a belief in the transformative power of education. It's about more than just imparting knowledge; it's about inspiring change and growth. As a tutor, my goal extends beyond covering the curriculum. About the lesson

I am delighted to offer tailored, one-on-one tutoring sessions for SACE, IGSCE, A Levels and Bachelors of Psychology students in Australia and internationally. I aim to enhance the learning capabilities of my students, while simultaneously discovering and utilizing their unique learning styles. To ensure a rich learning experience, my sessions would include either individual students or small groups of two to three. This approach is essential for fostering an environment where peer feedback is integral, especially given the collaborative nature of psychology.

Each lesson, lasting at least an hour, will delve into various topics, meticulously selected to ensure a comprehensive understanding and to keep students engaged. Understanding the varied needs of learners, I am flexible and open to modifying our sessions to incorporate revision topics specifically requested by students, provided they fall within my areas of expertise.

My qualifications include a background as a Psychologist, enriched by 7 years of tutoring experience. This includes my role as a tutor for third-year undergraduate psychology students at The University of Adelaide. This combination of psychological insight and hands-on teaching experience enables me to create a nurturing and effective educational atmosphere.

My tutoring is especially suited for students working toward their Bachelor's degree in Psychology. I am dedicated not only to teaching but also to mentoring my students throughout their academic journey, ensuring they acquire the necessary knowledge and confidence to excel.
