About Charles
I am a retired Resource Room teacher and Secondary English instructor in Montana. I have been consulting and working with students since 2007.Over the years I have worked with about one dozen students, all having graduated from high school.
My students learn in and out of the classroom. Some of my public- school experience was using therapeutic horseback riding to facilitate academic learning.
Building the foundation and prerequisites to learning has been one of the keys to my successful working with students.

I am a retired Special Education instructor, who just happened to be born without arms. I have dedicated my life to Special Education and disability awareness/ empathy awareness and attempting to break down attitudinal barriers.
I teach my students the meaning of moral fairness. I students to understand how to use self talk to monitor what they are doing. I tried to teach students what the is and how important it is in our world. My students need to learn their value in life. I also encourage my students to volunteer in their community, because not all of our learning is through paper/pencil tasks. We need to be good listeners and ask appropriate questions.
The lessons we go through are done one step at a time, with immediate feedback from the instructor so we do not practice doing things inaccurately.
In this day and age I encourage my students to use technology whenever they can to help them be successful.
