About Hannah

Though I’m not a native speaker, I bring personal experience of what it’s like to learn Spanish as a native English speaker. I have been able to achieve fluency and will be able to help you do the same! I am also able to bring guests (native Spanish speakers ) onto lessons to help you practice.

Rest assured that I will hold your hand and walk you through your language learning journey. I have taught native English speakers Spanish and even native Spanish speakers English for years. I focus on making sure this isn’t just a repeat of language courses you may take as a requirement in school that leave you feeling lost and unfulfilled. The most important thing to me is that you develop a personal love for the culture and opportunities that the Spanish language has to offer.

Spanish with Hannah is more than just boring lesson plans that don’t teach you what you really need to know. Instead I focus on your preferred learning style and how to make sure you really grasp the rules and vocabulary. This includes recommendations and tips that you can take with you even outside the classroom! I include worksheets, entertainment recommendations (music,tv, etc), online flash cards, and lessons that you can keep forever!

Depending on the topics we discuss I will include homework so that you can practice outside of our one-on-one lesson and have a stepping-stool for the next class. Lessons will take place on Google Meet, Skype, or Zoom.
