I run my brand 'Maximilian Raynor' as well as tutoring on the summer courses at Central Saint Martins. I have dressed the likes of Rita Ora + Ellie Goulding and been featured on the cover of Perfect.

Reflecting on my enriching experience at the Advanced Summer School at Central Saint Martins, I had the
privilege of being guided by the remarkable tutor, Maximilian Raynor. His mentorship significantly
contributed to my growth and learning, leaving an indelible mark on my creative journey. Maximilian's
infectious positivity, insightful guidance, and unwavering dedication to creativity have been instrumental in
shaping my perspective and approach to design. From the moment I met Maximilian during the summer
school, his vibrant positive energy became palpable. He approached my table with genuine enthusiasm,
instantly creating an environment that was conducive to collaboration and creativity. His willingness to
engage and assist in assembling a concept for my project showcased his innate ability to connect with
students and facilitate their creative processes. This initial interaction set the tone for the productive and
inspiring mentorship that followed.Maximilian's consistent delivery of constructive criticism was a
cornerstone of his mentoring approach. Each interaction with him was an opportunity for growth. His
feedback was always thoughtful, respectful, and aimed at guiding me towards refining my work. His
critiques not only highlighted areas for improvement but also provided me with the tools and insights to
navigate through project challenges. This method of imparting guidance allowed me to not only recognise
the weaknesses in my work but also understand how to rectify them, fostering a sense of autonomy and skill
development. I am profoundly grateful for his mentorship and the enduring impact it has had on my creative
journey.

I followed Maximilian's brand on Instagram and then asked him to become my tutor, as I felt his style was unique and I would benefit from our sessions. Maximilian helped me to prepare a portfolio for entering Central Saint Martins, and also we did a more job-searching-oriented version. He allowed me to explore my fashion identity more, title my practice, and show some techniques to elevate the level of my work. I have never met anybody better from my previous experience with mentors and tutors. We did many practical things while also digging into my background and reflecting on what I did during my nine years in fashion. Thanks to Maximilian, I could move on from frustration and was inspired to work on my portfolio again. His style in tutoring is super friendly and very professional. After all, I was accepted by RCA and CSM, which means my portfolio is good enough to get a master's degree in top-rated universities.

He’s such an amazing and passionate fashion design teacher. He’ll help you with understanding your design aesthetic and building your own personal narrative around your designs. As well as, motivating you to work with many different methods and mediums. Providing you with resources, theory and feedback along the way.
