I am studying Biological Sciences at Wits University. I'm in my second year of study. I tutor high school kids in my community every Saturday. I've been doing this for the past 15 months

I believe that asking the learner questions that will direct them to finding the answer themselves is very effective as the learner is active in pursuing the answer and is not spoon fed. I like to use questions because they approach the content in a manner that requires the learner to apply the knowledge instead of just knowing it.
