About Phelyx
I am Statistician/Applied Mathematician currently persuing a PhD in Applied Mathematics. I have been a private tutor since 2016 after completing my BSc in Statistics. My experience working with a variety of students with different characteristics and personalities has taught me patience and the ability to pay careful attention to detail. This allows me to pick up knowledge gaps and other human issues that can hinder the learning process. This experience allows me to approach my job with enough empathy that inturns helps accelerate the learning process.

With a fair amount of experience in the academic arena, my approach emphasizes detailed explanations of concepts while leveraging practical examples that a deliberately chosen to be relatable to the specific student.
