About Nikolas

I’m a drummer and musician based in London. I’ve been playing drums for many years and have played in several bands, including touring internationally and performing in all sorts of venues along the way.

These days I also work in music education with Music House Education, where I lead workshops and live music projects with young people. I really enjoy the teaching side of music and helping people get comfortable with an instrument.

My lessons are relaxed and completely tailored to the person I’m teaching. If you’re a complete beginner, there’s absolutely no expectation that you already know anything about drums. We can start from the basics and work from there, or jump straight into learning songs if that’s what you’re interested in.

I want lessons to be something you actually enjoy rather than something that feels like homework. I’ll also record parts of the lesson for you to take home, so you have something to practise along with and can go back over what we worked on during the week.

Whether you’ve always wanted to play drums, you’re picking them up for the first time, or you’ve played a bit before and want to get back into it, I’m happy to work at your pace.

I offer one-to-one private drum lessons for beginners, whether you're picking up sticks for the very first time or have a little experience and want to build your confidence.

Lessons are relaxed and tailored to you. We can work on the basics, learn songs you actually enjoy, develop your timing and coordination, or simply have fun getting comfortable behind the kit.

One thing I do differently: I record parts of every lesson for you to take home. You can use the recordings to practise between lessons, so you don't have to worry about remembering everything we covered.

Whether you've always wanted to learn drums or you're looking for a new hobby, you're welcome regardless of your experience level.
