About Kyla
I am a second year psychology student studying at the University of Cape Town who matriculated through the IEB system in 2022. I achieved 4 distinctions in my final year of high school (2 of which were in mathematics and natural sciences) and maintained an excellent academic record throughout my high-school career. I also received full academic colours in matric. Having recently undergone high school, I have a thorough understanding for the demands and skills required to excel in this sphere and am able to pass on the tools that I believe were pivotal to my own academic success. I am a patient and understanding person who prides themself in being able to convey complex concepts in a manner that is easy to understand so that students feel empowered in their learning.

My lessons are tailored for high school students specifically study through the IEB system and aim to strengthen understanding for critical concepts and develop reliable frameworks for students to apply in exam and assessment settings to better improve grades and general academic confidence and performance.
I use study techniques that are easy to understand and helped me achieve distinctions in my own studies. My lessons are aimed at developing long term skills for students to use throughout high school and are adapted to individual preferences.
