About Marcus

I have graduated from McGill University; I completed my Bachelor of Education in Secondary Science and Technology. I am a CERTIFIED science teacher. I have graduated from Vanier College in Pure and Applied Sciences beforehand. I do have experience tutoring. I used to tutor throughout my high school and CEGEP years. It made me happy knowing I can make a difference in helping others understand content.

About the lesson

As a tutor and teacher, I strongly believe that understanding is more important than memorization. Therefore, when tutoring, I envision an environment where the tutor and the students work together on the problem. If a student doesn't know how to start or doesn't understand the questions, it is up to the tutor to provide guiding questions that will allow the student to do the question with assistance and develop his/her skills for a particular subject. I also have prepared lecture slides for various courses and for future teaching. If this is necessary to enhance understanding, they can be used. I believe that it is important for students to work on exercises during class as a group to help them learn and exchange knowledge.

Very incredible tutor
