About Alan
I am studying medicine at Flinders University.
I have experience in tutoring over the past four years — helping my students achieve goals tailored to their own expectations and needs in topics of maths and sciences with the aim of improving reasoning skills and critical thinking.
I sat the GAMSAT and achieved a result of 94 in section 3 and 81 overall (top percentile).

Worried about section 3 of the GAMSAT? Consider using a private tutor to assist in improving your reasoning skills for sciences and applying those skills to whatever ACER decides to throw at you!
We will begin with an introductory lesson of what is required in the GAMSAT for entry into your desired courses (e.g. medicine, dentistry, optometry, pharmacy) to establish expectations and goals while also going through your background and what skills are necessary to improve performance.
Subsequent lessons will involve working on how your train of thought operates in practise questions, which will have a focus on what mechanisms influences your reasoning skills. This is intended to develop a systematic method for working through questions, answers, and STEM (the information used to answer the question) personalised for you.
Leading up to the exam, lessons will then work on optimising this system for the 2.5 hour exam
