About Mooney

Being self-taught in three languages has provided me with invaluable experience and insights into effective language learning strategies. Born and raised in Ireland in a bilingual household, I have always been immersed in a multicultural environment. My language learning journey began in 2019 when I travelled to Paris, France for the first time and realized I love the joy of learning new words and phrases. My passion for language learning stems from the joy of connecting with different cultures and seeing someone’s face light up when you speak their native language.

About the lesson

Techniques and Methodology: I focus on comprehensible input, practical exposure, and real-life contexts, which have been the most beneficial for me, rather than concentrating solely on grammar. Qualifications/Experience: Experienced self-taught Spanish speaker with practical insights into effective learning strategies. *Unofficially worked as an assistant Spanish tutor at my university, helping less experienced Spanish speakers advance to the next level. Target Audience: Suitable for beginners to intermediate learners of all ages looking to improve their Spanish proficiency.
